Purpose of This Policy
SmallSEOEngine provides powerful AI and automation tools that, if misused, could harm other users, third parties, or the integrity of the internet. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of our platform, tools, and API. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Permitted Uses
- Using AI agents and tools to improve your own website's legitimate organic search performance
- Generating SEO-optimized content for your website or client websites you manage
- Submitting your own legitimate URLs to search engines via the IndexingNow API
- Using the 500+ SEO & Web Tools Suite to analyze and optimize websites you have legal authority over
- Integrating our API into your own SaaS product under your Agency or Developer plan
- Running automated rank tracking for websites you or your clients own
Prohibited Uses
Spam & Manipulation
- Creating or distributing spam content
- Link schemes or buying/selling links to manipulate PageRank
- Cloaking, doorway pages, or other deceptive practices
- Keyword stuffing or hidden text
- Negative SEO attacks against competitors
API Abuse
- Submitting URLs you do not own to search engines without authorization
- Circumventing API rate limits via multiple accounts
- Reselling API access without written permission
- Excessive automated requests beyond your plan quota
- Using the API to crawl or scrape third-party websites at scale
Illegal & Harmful Content
- Generating content that violates applicable laws
- Creating content related to illegal activities
- Content that harasses, threatens, or defames individuals
- Generating malware, phishing pages, or social engineering content
- Violating intellectual property rights of others
Platform Abuse
- Sharing account credentials across multiple organizations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts
- Reverse engineering or decompiling our software
- Introducing malicious code into the platform
- Interfering with the stability or security of our services
API Fair Use Guidelines
Enforcement
Warning
First-time minor violations may receive a warning email before action is taken.
Rate Limiting
API abuse triggers automatic rate limiting before account review.
Account Suspension
Serious or repeated violations result in immediate account suspension pending review.
Permanent Termination
Severe violations (illegal content, persistent abuse) result in permanent ban with no refund.
Report an AUP Violation
If you believe another user is violating this policy, please report it to abuse@smallseoengine.com. All reports are investigated confidentially and responded to within 5 business days.
